Kim Kardashian reveals her son has rare skin disorder

Kim Kardashian revealed her son has a rare skin disorder while discussing her psoriasis journey.

“It came from my mom, went to me … and I passed it on in a different form to my son, who has vitiligo very mildly,” the reality star, 43, told “She MD” podcast listeners on Monday.

Kardashian clarified that her little one’s condition, which happens when pigment-producing cells stop functioning, is now “under control.”

She recalled, “I didn’t know anything about it, but having to learn about it and figuring out where it came from and that it’s hereditary and just learning more and being able to share that [has been a blessing].”

The “Kardashians” star also noted that her “kids have a little bit of eczema.”

She did not clarify which of her two sons, Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5, has been diagnosed with vitiligo, which Pfizer says affects only 0.5 to 1 percent of the world’s population.

Perhaps most famously, Michael Jackson suffered from the condition.

Kardashian — who also shares daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, with her ex-husband Kanye West — did not go into further detail about her child’s health but detailed her own skin struggles with psoriasis in her 30s.

“I’ll do anything,” she told host Dr. Thais Aliabadi of treating it. “I’ve tried … special herbs, the holistic way, a celery juice diet for six weeks, every topical cream, every soap from natural to unnatural.”

The Skims creator first noticed her psoriasis at Kourtney Kardashian’s son Mason’s 1st or 2nd birthday party when she wore an itchy sequined dress.

While Kim temporarily stopped experiencing symptoms for after getting a cortisone shot, the psoriasis returned five years later and she has “never gotten rid of it again.”

The Hulu personality joked, “It’s here to stay.”

Kim has been vocal about her psoriasis over the years, even sharing a selfie in March 2019 to show it spreading across her face.

In January, she documented a “painful” bout of the skin disease “all up [her] leg” for her Instagram followers.

“I don’t know what’s happening but I got to figure this out,” Kim said at the time. “This is crazy. I’ve tried everything. Psoriasis sucks.”

“I don’t use it too often,” Kim clarified.

Her mom, Kris Jenner, passed the condition down, with the actress sarcastically saying in Monday’s episode that she is “lucky” to be the only one of her siblings to experience it.

Aliabadi joked that Kim “won the genetic lottery” and had “to get something.”
