Patti Anne Garrett

WEST TERRE HAUTE - Patti Anne Garrett, 63, of Terre Haute died Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Union Hospital.
The daughter of Teddy Joe and Sarah Riggen Harpold, Patti was born on December 12, 1960 in Clinton, Indiana. She attended Montezuma High School, graduating with the class of 1979. Patti furthered her education by receiving an associate's degree from Indiana State University.
She was employed at the Rockville Women's Prison and later TRW Automotive for many years. Patti was a faithful member of Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church.
Patti was a social butterfly who didn't know a stranger. She enjoyed spending time with her late husband Monte, traveling and riding motorcycles. Patti meticulously tended to her flower and vegetable gardens. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who adored spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who know and love her.
In addition to her parents, Teddy Joe and Sarah, Patti is survived by her children and their spouses: Dusty and Heather Gill, Nathaniel Gill and Monyrath Thol, Savanah and Steven Chaney, Kayla and Zach Wehrmeyer; siblings: Holly Purdue, Ted J. Harpold, Tami Robertson; grandchildren: Quintin, Carter, Monytevy, Nathaniel II, Ella, Justyn, Mavis, Aiden; two nieces; five nephews; many cousins, extended family members, and friends too numerous to list.
Patti is preceded in death by her son: Scott Gill; husband: Monte Garrett.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Roselawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
