#TRENZ24 Event Supporter Tomahawk was a huge hit with their popcorn stations helping to keep everyone fuelled up!
WellingtonNZ turned it on for TRENZ at Tākina - Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre! Congratulations to Tania R. Lynn Robinson & Melissa Pollard for a fabulously successful event. We were proud to support Tourism Industry Aotearoa and the event in 2024 by being a TRENZ Event Supporter this year. Our T-Hawk squad of Renee Goodsell Dan Mitchelmore and Cecile Houwen had a blast networking, delivering snacks to our tourism whānau and "smashing hangry" at #TRENZ24. A big thank you to all of the people that entered our Office Snack Hamper giveaway! The lucky winner of the snack hamper prize is Loren Aberhart (Heaphy) from ChristchurchNZ. Congrats Loren - delicious snacks coming soon! 😊 Again, a huge pakipaki to the hard working team from Tourism Industry Aotearoa who put together another successful event and we look forward to RotoruaNZ in 2025. 👏 #SnacksandTips #DeliveringSuccess #BetterNeverStops

TRENZ reposted this
“We could treat visitation as a simple transaction, a revenue-gathering exercise. But we want the people who visit to be part of our mission. Our story aims to inspire every visitor to take action to reverse the loss of nature in their own community when they go home.” Zealandia CE, Dr Danielle Shanahan spoke at the country's biggest annual tourism conference TRENZ last week, highlighting our focus on regenerative tourism. Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne is a living, breathing example of how tourism can transform how people live with nature. Read more about the sustainability focus of New Zealand tourism in the article in the comments.

It was a pleasure having Roady founder Roscoe Price Moor addressing his old school at TRENZ for Schools! #TRENZ24
A fun full circle moment… 👨🏫 In 2018 I left my job as a PE teacher at Hutt Valley High School to pursue Roady. 🎤 On Friday I spoke to Hutt Valley High students on a panel at TRENZ For Schools about careers in tourism. 🙏🏼 Careers are funny things, and I’m not really too sure how I ended up here, but I’m incredibly grateful to be involved in such an amazing industry and for all the opportunities it’s given me. ⚡️ Also feeling particularly energised after spending two days surrounded by the people who make working in tourism so great. Cheers for a top event WellingtonNZ, Tourism Industry Aotearoa and Tākina - Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre #TRENZ2024

Our friends at Wētā Workshop were at TRENZ last week in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington. After being seen at Wellington Airport, Tinkerfoot the Gnome, Bhelbrûk the dwarf, Tari the Elf and Ruc the Orc made their way to the Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre to meet up with their favourite animatronic Jeff, who was a great hit at the event. Thanks for this rare footage, Wētā Workshop Ltd The Weta Cave! #TRENZ24
