At JH LAW we love a good laugh, but when it comes to reviewing contracts these are 5 key areas we look for: 1️⃣ Clarity of Terms: Are the rights, obligations & timelines clear? 2️⃣ Risk Allocation: Who bears the risk & liability & is it fair to our client? 3️⃣ Termination Clauses: Can the contract be ended on reasonable and/or favourable terms if needed? 4️⃣ Payment Terms: Are the amounts & methods of payment clear & acceptable? 5️⃣ Compliance: Does the contract comply with relevant legal & regulatory requirements?
