It's been a week of bluebird powder days!🌞❄️ The recent storm delivered more than 50cms for Queenstown | Wānaka ski fields and light snow top-ups are predicted over the next couple of days. NZSki's Coronet Peak is covered from top to bottom, perfect for early morning First Tracks and natural jump lines. The Remarkables has Homeward Bound open, plus medium and big jump lines, and the Snow Sports NZ Slopestyle event on Saturday. Treble Cone Ski Area expects another 10cm tonight and Cardrona Alpine Resort has excellent conditions all over. So we’re thrilled to partner with seven south island Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs) and the Southern Airports Alliance to invite people to experience our surrounding regions ‘the Southern Way’. Queenstown is excited to be a prototype destination for the newly released Destination Wayfinder, the first industry led, evidence based framework for destination stewardship. Alongside Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board and 4VI Group we will be the first tourism organisations in the world to experience the new purpose-built software which aims to transform destination management.   Sarah O'Donnell, Destination Queenstown Marketing and Communications Director, said, “A true destination stewardship approach encompasses your entire community, including residents, tourism businesses and a wide range of stakeholders.
