Great to see Long Nguyen and Yixi Chen being recognised as the superstars that we know they are. They're both finalists in the Google Honours Q4 Awards being held next week. That's not all... the entire dentsu Aotearoa team are also a finalist for Agency Team, so even more reason for us all to keep our fingers crossed next week!

Our team had an amazing time helping create the world's first supermarket for bees with Woolworths New Zealand. It was great to see so many kids and families getting a chance to learn about the importance of bees and the role they play in the ecosystem. It sounds like the bees had a pretty good time too! All their favourite flowers, plants and native trees all in one place! With it being Mental Health Awareness Week, dentsu has had plenty of options to remind the team of how important it is to look after their mental health. For the whole month we've been getting outside and getting in as many steps as possible with a friendly competition called Steptember. The dentsu team have walked over 9million steps this month! This week there's also been Healthy Habits Bingo, meditation sessions, breathwork, puzzles & craft stations and even some ice-cream.

We're always proud of the team here at dentsu - but particularly at moments like this. With 14 entries put forward, seeing 14 listings when the finalists were announced was exciting and confirmed that all the hard work and great results were reflected in the submissions. A big congratulations to the dentsu team and our partners at TVNZ, Woolworths New Zealand, Nissan New Zealand and Movember.

Great to see another amazing activation from the FreshChoice and dentsu Aotearoa teams! Earlier this month we installed a 2.4m tall FreshChoice chiller in the crisp waters of Lake Dunstan. Marathoners had the opportunity to wade in and load up on some well-earned refreshments! Following on from the award-winning "Aid-Aisle" work, the FreshChoice and dentsu Aotearoa partnership keep finding ways to show their creativity and their support of some epic community events. Thanks to Karl Stanley for capturing this.

Ko taku reo taku ohooho, ko taku reo taku māpihi mauria. My language is my awakening, my language is the window to my soul. Tēnei te wiki o te reo Māori. I tēnei rā ka haere mai te rōpū kapa haka o te kura tuarua o Onehunga. Ki te haka, ki te waiata ataahua kia mātou. dentsu Aotearoa kicked off te wiki o te reo Māori with performances from the Kapa haka group from Onehunga High School. Whangaia ka tupu na puāwai. That which is nurtured blossoms and grows. Ake ake ake - A forever language

Why your dog is a better producer than you, how to roll more like Rick Astley, how to sell a crocodile….and other things the dentsu crew and friends learned from reality TV mega-producer Maz Speaks Global yesterday. Thanks to everyone who joined us for this masterclass on the extraordinarily high cost of being dull and the urgent importance of being interesting. 🐊

Last week saw Google play host to the prestigious dentsu Google Best Practice Awards, celebrating the exceptional achievements of dentsu APAC in utilising Google's cutting-edge platforms and solutions. All finalists for the awards descended on Singapore to present their work, and we were thrilled to see our very own Mudi Dahanayaka and Yixi Chen win the Automation category for their work with Woolworths New Zealand. Congratulations to the dentsu Media Aotearoa Woolworths team who in partnership with Google are raising the bar for what is possible with automation and delivering innovation to impact our clients business. Congrats to the other winners from across the region, and special shout out to Joe Gannon and Kelvin Li from the Australian team who also picked up a trophy.
