Bunzl’s Inspiring Women in Bunzl series brings together the women of our APAC business units as part of a networking and development opportunity. Yesterday, staff from seven businesses gathered following this year's UN goals for International Women’s Day on the theme of Invest in Women. We had the pleasure of hearing from two guest speakers.   The first speaker was Damalie Tryan, Founder of #TheWigChic and part of the Migrant Women in Business initiative, who shared her journey as an orphan from Uganda to business entrepreneur in Australia. Damalie’s story is nothing short of inspirational and shows us where real resilience can take you.   Our second speaker was Kerryn Lancaster Senior Relationship Manager, Corporate Superannuation from Nestworth, who walked us through ‘Females, Finance and the Decades’, plus strategies on how we can ensure our financial literacy, security and wellbeing.    #InvestInWomen encourages us to work towards greater economic inclusion for women and girls everywhere, removing the obstacles that prevent equal participation in the economy. Having navigated the cruising customer experience for decades - as both a director and guest - Goodman offered his insights on delivering superior service that goes above and beyond. “My favourite thing is seeing people just wowed as they come on board. And they are always such a mixed group – people celebrating a milestone, connecting with loved ones, having their first-ever holiday, or people that travel every couple of months.
