The 2024 Republican National Convention came to a close Thursday, as GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump gave his first speech since he was wounded in an assassination attempt at a rally Saturday.

Trump formally accepted the party’s nomination after highly anticipated speeches from former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, WWE legend Hulk Hogan, Eric Trump and UFC CEO Dana White, and a performance by longtime Trump backer Kid Rock.
