What if we could accelerate systems change? And how do we develop strong and equitable communities? 💭 In episode 3 of Impact Stories, Ronny Eriksson from New Nordic Way sits down with Alexandre Prate, co-founder, venture builder, and DAO Operations at Hypha DAO and Hypha Energy. One of the most striking and inspiring insights we discovered is how DAOs can mimic natural ecosystems, functioning like living organisms. This perspective challenges us to rethink structures and systems by learning from nature's inherent efficiency and interconnectedness. Our takeaway, among many, is that by designing organizations, gatherings, and communities that self-organize and adapt like ecosystems, we can foster more sustainable and resilient movements 🌱 🎧 Tune in here: https://lnkd.in/dQSbj4KS Alexandre shares insightful perspectives on: 💪🏼 Empowering individuals through DAOs to pursue their passions 🫶🏼 Measuring genuine impact using blockchain transparency 🫱🏽🫲🏾 Transitioning from competition to pure collaboration 🌎 Mimicking nature's ecosystems in organizational design Alexandre's vision inspires us to consider how technology can be harnessed for the greater good, placing humans at the center of innovation. It's stories like these that highlight the ripples of impact contributing to growth and positive change. We invite you to listen in, gain inspiration, and share your thoughts with us. "How do you chose to show up? You also have a responsibility as a participant" I spoke to Ida Faldbakken about gatherings on the World of Wisdom Podcast EP237. A deep dive into why we gather, what we're hoping for, not wasting people time and participation. Here are some highlights that brought me insight: 🎭 "A person on stage’s mission is to prompt the conversation off stage, and what happens off stage is just as important as what is happening on stage" This perspective shifts subtle but profound. Invitations for dialogue not self-promotion. What if you'd take that with you into the next time you give a speech? ⌛ "Let’s do what we can so that the totality of the ecosystem becomes bigger, because that is what we want to scale, we don’t necissarily want to scale into a gathering that is 10.000 people." This is the question also at the core of the RCO: How do we grow the ecosystems and our inquiry vs how do I grow my [business]? 🏢 "The corner office is long gone, it’s dead actually. And that is very uncomfortable for many people. The younger generation that is just entering the workforce, don’t even know what it is." What success looks like for you may not at all be what it looks like for the next generation. What if your notions of success trap them? Are you ready to let them go? 📱 "If you build from a place of relationship, an exchange rather than a transactional approach that is when you get a qualitative difference." Regarding the 100% response rate from those I've reached out to after Katapult Future Fest this spring... And it relates to participation. Something happens when we step in and create the context we are longing for - try it? Finally: 📖 "There is no friction (in AI) so there is no learning." said a 10 year old during an (intergenerational) dialogue at an AI conference... This story really moved me. Take a listen to hear all of it! 🔗 in bio. Or wherever you listen to podcasts. World of Wisdom Podcast EP237. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for the talk, Amit Paul! As a curator, co-founder, facilitator of gatherings and experiences, I spend much time thinking about why we gather and the power of social innovations. Throughout history, movements and communities have catalyzed change, but to build strength and hope between us, we must meet intentionally. To me, gatherings, is not about transactions, starring on stage, or old-fashioned networking—it’s about taking responsibility for a group's collective potential, creativity, and collaboration. The business results will come, but only if we gather generously. 🎧 In this World of Wisdom Podcast, I'm sharing what I see and learn. Tune in if you are curious about gatherings as a platform for social innovation. It's a longer listen, so here are some of my essential reflections: 🤝 As and organizer, dare to focus on relationship building, not just transactions and business. (Yes, people will push you on this, so grow a thick skin). Genuine relationships have a lasting impact. At Katapult Future Fest we emphasize the power of showing up with intention and exploring spaces for testing ideas, practicing empathy, and learning from each other. Well-executed gatherings serve as valuable learning opportunities above all else. 🌱 As a sponsor, be part of the culture! It's not always about the number of attendees, especially for sponsors and financial partners of the gathering and conference, who still measure visibility, reach, and number of participants. You can also part of the culture, community, and the ecosystem beyond the gathering. So, instead of focusing on growing numbers or participants, let’s think about how to grow our ecosystems and collective inquiries to create a movement over time. 💡 As a speaker, be part of the conference. The speaker who dares to move beyond the stage time gain. It’s not about being the star but creating conversations that matter, on and off stage. Shifting from self-promotion to fostering dialogue changes how we lead and communicate. 💜 As participants, it's about how you show up, so redefine success. The traditional markers of success, like the corner office, are gone. Are you holding onto outdated ideas of success and limiting the next generation? Are we being outdated in thinking gatherings are all about the hunt? Relax, show up, build relationships, and measure your success in learning, curiosity, and openness, and others will too. The ventures will grow as the sum of the community of purpose, with your voice, participation, agenda-setting, and developing a field and market for your passions, and with that, your ventures will also flourish. 💭 Growth happens when we face challenges; seek them out at gatherings. A conversation on AI I had with a 10-year-old at Future Horizon this summer reminded me about that. He said, "There's no friction in AI, so there is no learning." Use the opportunity and spend time with people who may seem unconventional to you at gatherings.
