We’re excited to announce that TAILWIND Shipping Lines, a subsidiary of the Lidl Group, has chosen StormGeo's Bunker Management module within s-Insight for their fleet! 🌍⚓ On the first day of SMM Hamburg, StormGeo's CEO, Kim Sorensen, and Tailwind's Director of Chartering Operations, Gerrit Krause, signed an open-ended contract, expressing their enthusiasm for future collaboration at the StormGeo-Alfa Laval booth. The deal came about after Tailwind, already a user of our Voyage Optimization solutions, expressed interest in expanding their contract with us as part of their broader voyage optimization strategy. Our s-Insight’s Bunker Management module empowers bunker professionals to streamline planning and procurement, managing the entire bunker workflow from a single view with the most accurate market insights and full control over their data. This solution is expected to save Tailwind several hours of manual work while significantly optimizing operating costs and reducing emissions. This week at SMM Hamburg, we and our valued partners at Danelec celebrated a major milestone that further strengthens our presence in the Turkish market! 🚢🤝 Arkas Holding and Er Denizcilik two leading shipping companies, have successfully implemented our StormGeo-Danelec solution for enhanced vessel performance on 48 vessels. This achievement brings the total number of ships equipped with StormGeo's Vessel Performance solutions in Turkey to an impressive 225! 🥇 The collaboration between StormGeo and Danelec began in 2023 as part of our strategic partnership with the Turkish Shipowners' Association (TSA). The joint solution leverages high-frequency sensor data analysis within StormGeo’s tools to provide valuable insights into vessel performance, enabling ship owners to make informed decisions and reduce emissions. Emre Reha Güven, Environmental Management Superintendent at Arkas, shares: "At Arkas, we take our environmental goals seriously. We are excited to deepen our partnership with StormGeo by equipping 44 vessels in our fleet with high-frequency data reporting through the StormGeo-Danelec solution. We are confident that the high-quality data and environmental expertise this partnership provides will strengthen our efforts to decarbonize the shipping industry alongside other TSA members.
