Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked with video solutions for fire departments 🚒, police 🚓, and pre-hospital services 🚑 around the world (Yes, I might be getting a bit old!). But I still feel incredibly proud and happy that what started as an idea is now helping people in need, 24/7, across Denmark and many other places globally. Video technology like ours at Bliksund, has become an invaluable tool for emergency dispatchers during 112 calls. By enabling callers to share live footage of the situation, dispatchers can assess conditions more accurately, even when feeling helpless or when there’s a delay in ambulance availability. This real-time visual insight helps ensure faster and more effective responses. Fredrikke, Otto and Curtis are at the Boston United Football Club in beautiful Lincolnshire today, training the LIVES superusers on Bliksund EWA (Emergency Worker Assistant) – our pre-hospital EPR. Daniel and the LIVES team have developed EWA as a tool to assist their Emergency Workers in their daily work. LIVES provides expert emergency medical assistance to the community of Lincolnshire. There has been much excitement throughout the day, and we cannot wait to go live!
