Short description of the work field:
As a Key Account Manager you will be part of the Sales team based in the Netherlands and report directly to the Head of Cluster North-West. You will be mainly responsible of working together with the key account and safeguard the right set of products/ assortments/ mix, ensure effective route of supply, and provide excellent marketing support. You will closely work with the Finance, Marketing, Pricing, Logistics, and the Cluster Head to maximize the sell-out of the key account and achieve the best possible P&L on both sides.
For this position is very important to possess good knowledge of the customers and the market.
Furthermore, you will need a good ability to anticipate the changes on all levels that would provide new opportunities and potential threats.
What will be your role?
- Relationship maintenance: You will gather information about customers (and their sales market), know the hierarchy by having contact on several layers (C-level, buyers, etc.) and ensure customers satisfaction
- You will manage the business, including new orders, internal price alignments, reporting, managing supply and internal projects
- You will discuss Marketing plans with account
- You will negotiate contracts, discuss pricing & conditions with customers
- You will conduct market research
Qualifications, education, and experience requirements:
- You have at least Bachelor diploma (WO/HBO)
- You have minimum 5 years of commercial experience and a background in automotive/ tyre industry
- You can easily switch between hands-on and strategic tasks
- You have an entrepreneurial mind-set with strong Ecosystem/Partner Management skills
- You are an exceptional account planner and have good skills in data gathering and reporting
- You are a team player, with strong communication & negotiating skills
- You speak Dutch and English on a proficient level
- Some consulting experience would be a plus
