Introduction on the role:

The Director, Sales Europe will be in charge of leading and implementing the sales strategy across the main European markets, mainly UK, Germany and France, and probably some other countries. This is an important position to achieve ambitious revenue targets and facilitate growth.

What will you do?

  • Design and execute total sales strategies for core European markets
  • Focus on aggressive revenue goals and driving significant growth
  • Set, achieve short-team KPI’s while maintaining long-term strategic vision
  • Own the Go-to-Market process including accurate planning, forecasting, and sell-through tracking.
  • Police sales tools, systems and processes implementation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create powerful relations with key accounts as well as field accounts.
  • Oversee all sales activities from prospecting/acquisition to closing/negotiation.
  • Operate effectively within a matrix structure by working together with marketing, product development, finance, supply chain teams so as to be consistent with sales goals and consumer expectations.
  • Developing of sales budgets, forecasts and presentations for senior management
  • Participating in Top-to-Top Meetings with major key accounts.
  • Manage your team effectively through leadership, coaching and training that will enhance their skills for improved performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify opportunities or mitigate risks.

Who are you?

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales within the sport/lifestyle market.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in European markets.
  • Strong knowledge of the German, French, and UK markets, including key players and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Europe.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German and/or French is a plus
