The purpose of On the Ground International (OTGI) in Colombia is to assist Venezuelan refugees in all stages of their resettlement, primarily by supporting and advocating for independent and locally-run organisations. Projects include:
- Shelter support: OTGI provides regular cash support and food deliveries to these shelters, and volunteers assist in preparing and serving meals and cleaning the shelters.
- Medical clinics: providing medical aid to the refugees.

- YWAM partnership: OTGI partners with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in offering food, clean water, a shaded place to rest, and a foot washing and blister care station.
