Their goal with the Bubble Buzz installation? "It may seem paradoxical for a container to have holes" 🍽️ Meet Boey Wang, inspiring product designer and one of the talents selected for this year’s Secrid Talent Podium. Through these innovative tools, Boey is raising awareness about the power of inclusive, multi-sensory design. Boey’s project, Haptics of Cooking, is a series of multi-sensory kitchen tools designed to make cooking intuitive for both visually impaired and sighted users. “Few materials were both 100% natural and circular. So we developed our own" ♻️ Meet Huub Looze and Margreet van Uffelen, founders of Omlab and selected for this year's Secrid Talent Podium. Omlab is on a mission to make the construction industry more sustainable by developing biobased, circular materials that enhance biodiversity. From embankment tiles that dissolve to restore soil health to bird and bat boxes that decompose naturally, their products show how the building industry can contribute positively to nature.
