NL NIS2-implementatie wetgeving laat tot zeker zomer 2025 op zich wachten. Tot dan geen verplichtingen, wel al de rechten voor organisaties o.a. op support van de CSIRT-teams. Maar toch is het beter om nu al te beginnen en je organisatie cyber veilig te maken, ransom-ware aanvallen en hackers wachten niet tot dan.

Op 17 oktober 2024 treedt de nieuwe Europese netwerk- en informatiebeveiliging richtlijn (NIS2-richtlijn) in werking. Over de gevolgen van het niet-tijdig omzetten van de NIS2-richtlijn naar de nationale Cyberbeveiligingswet (Cbw) verscheen vandaag een Kamerbrief. Het NCSC krijgt onder de Cbw de rol van Nationale en Sectorale CSIRT en voert in dat kader vanaf 17 oktober reeds een aantal taken en activiteiten uit.
