The game RollerCoaster Tycoon played a big role in that and sparked his interest in mechanical engineering at a young age. Although the roller coasters somewhat faded into the background, his passion for technology continued to grow. Max graduated from TU Eindhoven in 2017 and was nominated for the Wim van der Hoek Award. Since then he has worked at Nobleo. Currently as a lead mechanical engineer, where he works on projects in, among others, the semiconductor and optomechatronics industries. In 2023, he received the Ir. A.
