We at Neogene are reminded that our strength as a community comes from the diversity of lived experiences and cultures that shape who we are. This belief guided last month's quarterly partnership with LA Works, where we came together in honor of Indigenous People of the World’s Day to create 250 hygiene bags for those in need in Santa Monica—a small way we continue to give back and support the communities around us.   It's also important to recognize the history beneath our feet. Here in Santa Monica, we stand on the ancestral lands of the Tongva people, whose rich traditions and culture have long been part of this region. Our appreciation for this heritage runs deep, and we’re committed to educating and uplifting the voices of Indigenous communities, both near and far.   Indigenous People’s Day is more than an acknowledgment—it’s a call to action. We recently dedicated several days for an important initiative aimed at enhancing team dynamics – our Team Cohesion Days.   Hosted at both our US and NL headquarters, our Team Cohesion Days represent our firm belief that innovation thrives in an environment where trust flows freely, differences are navigated with respect, and every team member feels valued and heard. Through a series of workshops, collaborative exercises, and open discussions, we delved into the essence of what makes a team not just function, but flourish.
