We know internal transparency is manageable with a team of 8 people. You engage in regular interactions, smoothly transitioning from business topics to conversations about personal well-being and individual challenges. Dé trend op de werkvloer is het belang van authenticiteit en het vinden van "werkgeluk". Bij Koodin kan ik echt mezelf zijn, elke dag opnieuw. Ik vroeg me af hoeveel bedrijven deze vrijheid bieden en nam deze vraag mee naar het 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 in Pakhuis de Zwijger. De sprekers bevestigden en promootten de trend van authenticiteit vol overtuiging! Ik ben dolblij om te zien dat trouw zijn aan jezelf meer wordt dan alleen maar een trend, maar de nieuwe standaard. Werkgevers erkennen de vele voordelen die dit met zich meebrengt voor hun organisaties. 🌱 Hier wat takeaways die ik heb meegenomen van het event: · De terechte vraag van Tanya Kopps over hoeveel waarde een diversiteitsbeleid heeft  als individuen niet zichzelf kunnen zijn? · Jesse Geul benadrukt dat je nooit een post moet beginnen met ‘The word is out….’ en het vermijden van elkaar napraten op LinkedIn. · 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐤 heeft mij geïnspireerd met de rebelse campagnes die hij heeft gemaakt voor het werven van mensen voor onder andere KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Vodafone en de Rabobank. · En het verfrissende perspectief van Bob Hutten over het werken met een groeiovereenkomst in plaats van een werkovereenkomst. According to Tjeerd, one of the founders, aside from the senior-only policy, it's mainly about how we do things. At Koodin, everyone is free to have an opinion about everything.     Should companies ditch the budget-driven approach when hiring external talent? 🚫💰 It’s clear that tapping into external resources is a must for many companies today. But are we missing the mark by fixating on hourly budgets? Consider this: When you buy jeans, you expect a €100 pair to outlast a €50 pair, right? And often, it outlasts two €50 pairs. Yet, when it comes to hiring external talent, the hourly budget often takes precedence over quality. 📉 Here's my stance: Quality should always take precedence over the (hourly) budget. If you're constrained by budget limitations, consider shortening the lead time instead of settling for cheaper options at the expense of expertise. Let’s be clear. I understand that budgets have their limitations, and it's important to consider the rate. However, my point is not to solely focus on the hourly rate but to look at the total investment required. If you have a budget for a specific task or project, it's wise to prioritize that budget rather than fixating on the hourly rate. What if the perfect fit for the job asks for an hourly rate of €10 above your mentioned hourly budget? Would you let that opportunity slip away? Agree?
