Celebrating Our Journey and Future at INSPIR8ION Yesterday, we had an incredible day spent with a part of the core team of #INSPIR8ION. Reflecting on our journey, we are immensely proud of the milestones we've achieved over the last few years. It's thrilling to envision what the next months and year hold for us! Our clients choose us not just for products or services; they embrace the unique experiences, partnership, impactful solutions, personal attention, and the sheer joy, energy, positivity, and adaptability we bring into every project. We focus on the impact of emerging technologies and geopolitical developments on governments and companies, providing guidance to our clients based on our 3 S Model: strategy, stakeholder management, and storytelling. Due to our growth, we will be adding fresh faces to our 'on-demand workforce' to ensure we can execute even more meaningful assignments and broaden our footprint in the Netherlands and globally. As we look ahead, we are excited to announce our strategy for the upcoming year. This includes introducing innovative entities and concepts that promise to inject even more #INSPIR8IONAL energy and foster deeper impact through our collaborations with partners and clients. We are not the type of company that focuses on an exit strategy, looking for investors to make it grow fast and let numbers rule our daily business. We focus on sustainable growth, impact, and partnerships where people can learn, thrive, and grow on both a business and personal level. Of course, we understand the importance of economic value, but we embrace societal, environmental, and personal value more. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to work on projects that resonate so deeply, not just here in our beloved #Rotterdam, the Netherlands, but also across borders. Geweldig nieuws! Ons project 'Studeren zonder Grenzen' is geselecteerd als een van de 20 winnende projecten van het Innovatiebudget Digitale Overheid 2024 🎉 Met deze subsidie zetten we ons in voor een betere en toegankelijkere toekomst voor de 1600 studenten uit het Caribische deel van het Koninkrijk die jaarlijks overstappen naar het Nederlandse onderwijssysteem. Bureaucratische obstakels maken deze overstap vaak moeilijk, maar dankzij ons project worden deze processen aanzienlijk vereenvoudigd. Door middel van een geavanceerde digitale infrastructuur zorgen we ervoor dat essentiële zaken zoals het verkrijgen van een BSN en inschrijving bij onderwijsinstellingen digitaal geregeld kunnen worden, nog vóór de aankomst van de studenten in Nederland. Met 'Studeren zonder Grenzen' geven we concreet opvolging aan het goede werk van de De De Nationale ombudsman, Reinier Van Zutphen, en zijn team, die via het onderzoek 'Kopzorgen van Caribische studenten', https://lnkd.in/eqa6xUZs, als eerste aandacht hebben gevraagd voor deze belangrijke doelgroep binnen het Koninkrijk. Dankzij dit project kunnen studenten zich volledig focussen op de grote overstap van het Caribische gedeelte van het Koninkrijk naar het Europese gedeelte en hun integratie in het dagelijks leven, in plaats van de stress te ervaren om alles pas in Nederland te kunnen regelen. Van aanmelden bij een school tot huisvesting, en van het afsluiten van een zorgverzekering tot het aanvragen van studiefinanciering. Ons consortium, onder leiding van de Gemeente Rotterdam, is mede tot stand gekomen door de onmisbare ondersteuning van openbaar lichaam Bonaire (OLB), Public Entity Saba, Rijksdienst voor Identiteitsgegevens (RvIG) , ICTU, Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties, Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap, DUO (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs) en zorgverzekeraars. Bijzondere dank gaat uit naar Rachnilda Hous - Tjin-Kon-Fat, Andreas de Kok, Wim van Twuijver en Bob van Os voor de hulp bij het opstellen van het voorstel, het pitchen en/of het samenstellen van het consortium. Voor het tweede jaar op rij hebben Ingrid Ronodikromo en Arthur Dallau budget toegewezen gekregen voor een door ons voorgesteld project. We zijn de jury (Mark Vermeer - Voorzitter, Anneke Keller, Carsten Herstel, Jasper van Kuijk en Ger Baron) enorm dankbaar. Technologische innovaties zijn niet het doel, maar een middel om burgers of bedrijven verder te helpen en het vertrouwen in de overheid te verstevigen. Nieuwe afleveringen van de Europe Office Podcast! Bij INSPIR8ION en Highberg werken we niet alleen aan uiteenlopende projecten en concepten in relatie tot Europa, maar heb ik ook samen met mijn collega Christian Verhagen het genoegen om interessante gesprekken te voeren met experts via onze Europe Office Podcast. Recentelijk hadden we het voorrecht om twee invloedrijke vrouwen te verwelkomen die een belangrijke rol spelen in hoe Nederland zich verhoudt tot Europese en wereldwijde beleidsvorming en innovaties. In onze laatste afleveringen richten we ons op onderwerpen zoals #AI, #digitalisering en #Interbestuurlijkesamenwerking, met bijzondere aandacht voor de impact van Europa op Nederland: Esther(Eske) Montoya Martinez van Egerschot, Chief AI Governance and Ethics bij DigiDiplomacy en voormalig Tweede Kamerlid voor de VVD, deelde haar perspectieven op AI vanuit een internationaal standpunt en het belang van AI Governance. Zij benadrukte hoe Europa competitief kan blijven op wereldniveau en stelde voor om Karen Van Krevel - van der Zanden van de Nationale Coalitie Duurzame Digitalisering uit te nodigen voor een volgende aflevering. Ze besprak samen met ons hoe het gesprek over Europa concreter en inclusiever kan vanuit een interbestuurlijk perspectief. Dat Europa niet enkel relevant is aan het einde van een beleidscyclus, maar dat je hier vooral proactief in kan zijn en het integraal mee kunt nemen in de cyclus. Dankzij de eerdergenoemde leerstoel zal ze het beroepsonderwijs met haar lectoraat verder versterken door middel van toegepast onderzoek met studenten op het gebied van Europese kennis en vaardigheden. Haar expertise biedt waardevolle inzichten voor het effectief voeren van een dialoog over, met én in Brussel, en zij suggereerde Jean-Paul Bakkers van Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties als mogelijke volgende gast voor onze podcast. Exciting News: The NL Digital Government Website is Live - www.nldigitalgovernment.nl We at INSPIR8ION are thrilled to announce the launch of the new NL Digital Government website hosted by the Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties and ICTU, now available to our Caribbean and international friends who are deeply engaged in the field of Digital Government. This milestone marks a significant upgrade from the previous English version of the website, Digitale Overheid, and represents the commitment to facilitating global access to the Netherlands' digital government initiatives. The success of this project owes much to the extraordinary efforts of Nathy Ercol. Over the past few months, Nathy has worked tirelessly, performing what can only be described as miracles, to overhaul the website. Her dedication touched every aspect of the site, from its structure and content to the strategic vision behind it and the translations that make it accessible to an international audience. Her work exemplifies the best of what we strive for at INSPIR8ION: dedication, excellence, and a forward-thinking approach to digital government solutions. We, as a team, are immensely proud of her achievement and are delighted to see that the Dutch government now has a proper English-language website once again, dedicated to Digital Government in the Netherlands. This platform is more than just a website; it is a gateway for sharing knowledge, fostering international collaboration, and driving forward the digital transformation in governance. We invite our Caribbean Netherlands and international colleagues in the field of Digital Government to explore the new NL Digital Government website. 🚀 Reflecting on the U-Space Revolution in Rotterdam 🚀 A week has flown by since the U-Space Revolution event in Rotterdam, hosted by the Port of Rotterdam & DronePort Rotterdam. 🎉 As the Event Manager from INSPIR8ION, I had the privilege of working behind the scenes for the event, while witnessing groundbreaking innovations and fostering meaningful connections in the dynamic world of drone technology. The event commenced with a special gathering on March 4th at Eau Lounge, uniting our international guests from 15 countries worldwide. ✈ On the event day itself, March 5th, with 220 attendees ⚡ We started our morning program with live demonstrations and simulations by Airwayz, SKYOPS, DDC - Smart Inspections, FlightOps.io, Avy, ST Engineering, and NLR - Netherlands Aerospace Centre, expertly moderated by Guy Laor💫 Followed by updates of the Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat & DronePort Rotterdam 📰 Later, our journey to Heerema Rozenburg 🚌 , treated us to live cutting-edge demonstrations. ST Engineering and DDC - Smart Inspections unveiled the DroNet system, facilitating simultaneous drone deliveries over mobile networks. Ampelmann Operations introduced offshore delivery to the Thialf BV, revolutionizing maritime logistics. 🚁📦 I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to have been part of such a pioneering event.
