Since the full-scale Russian invasion began in February 2022, Magnolia has been on the frontline of protecting children. The StopCrime hotline remains operational, addressing increased reports of violence, sexual exploitation, and trafficking. Magnolia’s efforts extend to documenting war crimes under the Rome statute, reuniting families, and supporting parents of missing children. The organisation also operates the 116 000 European hotline 24/7, offering legal, social, and psychological support. ➡️Discover how Magnolia’s work is making a difference and explore the full range of their services: https://bit.ly/3B0GUFs #hotlineofthemonth #globalnetwork #safeinternet #childsafety

INHOPE is the leading global network of 55 hotlines in 51 countries combating online Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Over ons
INHOPE is the leading global network combatting online Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). The Network consists of 54 hotlines in 50 countries (as of January 2024) that provide the public with a way to anonymously report illegal content online with a focus on CSAM. Reports are reviewed by content analysts who classify the illegality of the material, which is then shared with local Law Enforcement Agencies and a notice and takedown order is sent to the relevant Hosting Provider. We support hotlines and their partner organisations through training, setting high quality standards and best practices for hotline operations, and ensuring staff welfare. We provide the hotline network with a secure platform called ICCAM that facilitates the exchange of CSAM reports between hotlines and INTERPOL. INHOPE promotes legislative and policy developments that support our vision of an internet free from CSAM. INHOPE is based in the Netherlands and our member hotlines operate across six continents: Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, North and South America. In a borderless digital world CSAM has global consequences and as its distribution grows so do our efforts. This is only possible with the support and funding from the European Commission, Safe Online, NEO Philanthropy Foundation and INHOPE’s corporate partners. Join us in the fight!

In our Global CSAM Legislative Overview, several content types—like ‘An adult person appearing to be a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct’ and ‘Sexualised modelling’—are among those considered illegal by the fewest countries assessed. This variation in legality complicates the work of hotlines, which must handle and classify potentially illegal material from different jurisdictions while sharing critical information. The disparity underscores the urgent need for stronger, harmonised national legislation to address a broader range of harmful content, especially as new types emerge with advancing technology. Did you know that by reporting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to your local hotline, you’re not just helping to remove it from the internet—you might actually save a life? When you report suspected CSAM to INHOPE hotlines, your tip is shared with INTERPOL investigators through our secure system, ICCAM. These experts use advanced tools to uncover crucial details like the location, victim, and perpetrators involved in the abuse. Every detail in the image matters—whether it’s food packaging, newspapers, or toys. But public reports aren’t the only way investigators gain access to CSAM. Want to learn more about how this works? How do legal frameworks shape mental health support? The 2PS Project, an EU-funded initiative, is tackling this critical question through a survey for mental health practitioners who work with people with a sexual interest in children. The survey explores how mandatory reporting obligations influence the balance between maintaining confidentiality and addressing risks of harm to children. The insights will help clarify legal frameworks in the EU, EEA, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, the UK, and the US, contributing to stronger, more informed policies. It’s anonymous, takes only 20 minutes to complete, and is open until 15 January 2025. Your input could be vital in shaping the future of mental health support and child protection policies. In response to rising concerns over crimes against children, NGO Magnolia launched the StopCrime hotline in 2022. This platform, supported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Cyberpolice Department, empowers people to report every kind of violence and abuse against children online. Ukraine was one of the top three countries hosting child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Recognising this, Magnolia joined the INHOPE network in 2023. A month ago, during the annual general meeting in Amsterdam, our hotlines voted to grant the organisation full member status. Through this membership, the hotline adheres to global standards, working alongside international partners to combat CSAM effectively. 👉Visit the hotline here: https://bit.ly/3AOxddp #hotlineofthemonth #globalnetwork #safeinternet #childsafety
