When we sat down with Inclusive Strategist Hanan Challouki, she mentioned that it starts with understanding that diversity and inclusion are 2 different things 👇 “Diversity is about observing the differences between people. Whereas inclusion is about working with those differences to ensure that everyone feels respected, engaged, and heard, within an organisation.” She also mentioned that the path to truly fostering these values, comes down to a commitment across the entire company: “We are all colleagues working for the same organisation – everyone can make an impact.     We have an exciting announcement! 📣    We’ve made 2 strategic appointments to GoodHabitz’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT), signifying a major step forward in our mission to unlock human potential at all levels of an organisation.    Chris Chen - a distinguished expert in AI, technology and EdTech, joins as the new Chief Technology Officer. Chris will spearhead GoodHabitz’s AI strategy, ensuring that the company's learning solutions are not only cutting-edge but also cater to the evolving human skills businesses need today. His leadership will be instrumental in creating more personalised and adaptive learning experiences, addressing the growing demand for tailored training at your fingertips in a tech-driven world.   Complementing this technological advancement, Sandrien Boogaard, HR Director, has joined the GoodHabitz Executive Leadership Team, further reinforcing the company’s commitment to the belief that people drive organisations forward.     The concept of learning and development can seem quite a distant one for employees. It’s often down to the lack of ‘buzz’ or excitement around learning. And as a result, HR and L&D are often perceived as just another department 🤷 However, as Polly Ivanova - at Puma, rightly pointed out in the latest episode of Moving Forward: “We quickly realised that HR should be more than just a function.
