How do you ensure optimal clamping force in a durable bolted connection, potentially in combination with the right locking elements? 🔩 That's what Tolsma Grisnich from Emmeloord wanted to know from Fabory. The company develops total solutions for the efficient storage and primary processing of potatoes, onions, and carrots. 🥕 During an on-site training, our expert Edwin de Lange shared his knowledge with Tolsma-Grisnich's technicians yesterday. They were divided into two groups and participated in either a morning or an afternoon session. After thoroughly assessing their needs, account manager Paul Geelen worked with Edwin to tailor the training content to the specific needs of the participants. Thieo van raalten, foreman at Tolsma-Grisnich, commented afterwards: "With the training, our employees are now more aware of the correct use of fasteners in a bolted connection. The training was solution-oriented, and we can now better identify potential issues. Together, we discovered that different tools need to be applied in some cases." Our new depalletizing robot at the central warehouse in Brno processes up to 20 tons of goods in just six hours—a task that used to take two days! At the end of September, we put this advanced robot into operation. 🤖 Where our team members used to manually place goods on a conveyor belt, we have now fully automated this process. This means optimal use of our personnel and faster goods reception. 🚚 Instead of two employees, we now only need one operator to scan the pallet barcode, after which the robot takes over the entire depalletizing process. The robot can operate autonomously with a tray for four pallets, without any intervention from an operator. After depalletizing, the conveyor belt automatically removes the empty pallets, stacking them up to 15 high. By deploying this robot in our central warehouse, we achieve significant gains in speed and efficiency. Our customer Faes, known for their custom packaging solutions, recently received a tailored training from Fabory to optimize their use of fasteners. Account manager Pieter van Wijk proposed a focused training session: “Faes has been purchasing from us for over thirty years. We want to support them in optimizing their purchasing processes, starting with the Engineering team. Which factors play a role in choosing the right products? Did you know that 70% of hand tool users are using the wrong accessories? Several Bosch experts shared their knowledge with our Fabory colleagues at their headquarters in Breda last week. The accessories line has undergone a transformation and now includes Bosch (good), Bosch Pro (better), and Bosch Expert (best). With the new packaging of the top two lines, users can more easily identify which accessories are best suited for their needs. These packages now contain more cardboard and less PTFE. In the afternoon, Fabory employees visited the demo room where they discovered even more innovations. They saw how quickly a carbide metal saw blade cuts through an H-profile beam using a small, handheld, battery-powered circular saw, ensuring a straight cut. 👌 Equipped with the necessary PPE, we got to work with grinding discs, jigsaw blades, and sanding discs. We also learned about the X-LOCK connection for angle grinders, which allows accessories to be changed with just one click. The disc is released and safely comes to a stop in 0.62 seconds.
