Over ons

At Cefetra Group, we strive to be the preferred supplier of carbon reduced commodities, and advisory services for both growers and customers. We achieve this through our expertise in agricultural markets, trust in our strong brand, and a commitment to meeting the unique needs of our industry. As a leader in the transformation towards a carbon accountable and reducing economic sector, we are dedicated to driving positive change and making a sustainable impact in global supply chains. As a trusted industry partner, Cefetra is uniquely placed to make sustainability work for all by acting as the bridge between farmers and customers seeking consistent supplies of high-quality reduced carbon commodities. On Wednesday 8th November at our Ormiston Grain Store we launched the Cefetra Farming Programme. It’s the first initiative of its kind to set high standards for climate positive supply chains and reward growers for adopting sustainable farming practices. The programme for UK and Irish growers is already available for 2024 crops. For more information and to learn more about the new programme, please contact [email protected]

For most companies in the agricultural supply chain, Scope 3 emissions make up the largest part of their carbon footprint. While regenerative agriculture offers a way to reduce this, scaling it is challenging and often beyond a company's direct control. Cefetra in partnership with Soil Capital, play a key role in driving investment in regenerative agriculture by delivering certified carbon reductions from these practices. Check out the infographic below to learn more about Scope 3 emissions and how our offer of carbon-reduced commodities can make a difference for you. #Scope3 #RegenAg #Cefetra #Grains

  • 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 In our monthly Cefetra Ecosystem Services update, we dive into the practicalities involved in meeting SBTi emission reduction targets for purchased goods and services. With only six harvests away to deliver results on SBTi targets, large industrial users of commodity grains require solutions at an intimidating scale. Required growth rates and the threat of rising marginal cost of providing emission reductions and removals will be challenging to deal with. We see much well intentioned work being done in trials, pilots and schemes which can not be scaled beyond what might be called gardening. Our program is designed to be deliverable at the scale of farming. In this video we give an example of just how challenging the numbers are. 👇🏼Watch the video below to find more! #Cefetra #SustainableAgriculture #Grains

  • 🧑🏻🌾𝐂𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚 - 𝐒𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐲 We held our first annual customer event at Ramsbury Brewing & Distilling Co. Ltd. Estates on July 9th in partnership with Soil Capital, marking a significant milestone for Cefetra Ecosystem Services. The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders from various sectors of the agriculture and food supply chain. Other than showcasing what the program means on farm we intended to provide a forum for freely exchanging ideas and impressions. Participants represented leading retailers, feed producers, millers and bakers, dairy and food processors, brewers and distillers, energy producers, banks, a green fertiliser producer and even another regenerative farming program. It was extremely exciting to witness the engagement and enthusiasm from our customers. Cefetra commercial teams were on hand and together with Soil Capital’s attendees the customer discussions covered a lot of ground on our way to ramping up the program for crop year 2025. We thank all the dedicated farmers who have signed up for our program and whose commitment is key in driving sustainable change within our industry.
