#ThrowbackThursday: Gawain subsea infrastructure successfully decommissioned by Petrodec’s HAEVA rig On December 14th, 2023, the HAEVA rig successfully completed the Plug & Abandonment (P&A) of three subsea wells at the Gawain field in the UK Southern North Sea, along with the removal of the associated subsea infrastructure. Gawain, a subsea tieback to the former Thames platform, was decommissioned by Petrodec, acting as the well operator on behalf of Perenco UK. As one of the four business units under Dixstone, a proud member of the Perenco Group, Petrodec installed an air-based diving and ROV spread onboard the HAEVA, enabling rig-based diving and eliminating the need for a Dive Support Vessel (DSV). After 160 days of operation and over 340 air dives, the successful completion of this project marked a significant milestone for Perenco UK, Petrodec, and the wider Perenco Group. Celebrating 5 years of success with the MIDIR Rig on the GANGA field! This year we achieved a major milestone at Dixstone: 5 years of successful operations with the MIDIR rig on the GANGA field, a significant achievement for Perenco Oil & Gas Gabon (POGG) and Dixstone Drilling! The MIDIR rig has been selected by Perenco Oil & Gas Gabon in 2017 among Dixstone Drilling fleet to develop the Ganga field—a thin 11m oil ring located in the magnificent forest of Gabon. Discovered in the 1980s but never fully developed, the field has now seen remarkable progress. Thanks to our dedicated skidding rig, we have drilled nearly 50 wells from 7 drilling pads in less than 5 years, achieving exceptional safety records and high rig uptime while reducing costs per well. More than 60 million barrels have been unlocked from this semi-abandoned field!   Throughout these years, the MIDIR rig has undergone various upgrades, including the latest addition of a new electric TDS, enhancing its drilling capabilities and well delivery. POGG has extended the rig contract for 2 more years, not only on Ganga field but also to develop other onshore oil and gas fields they have in their portfolio. Exiting news for Dixstone! We are proud to announce that Dixstone has been awarded the Construction, Procurement, and Integration of the new LNG Project at Cap Lopez, Gabon! This nearshore LNG facility will have a production capacity of 0.7 MTPA of LNG and 25,000 tons of LPG per year (Phase 1), with a storage capacity of 137,000 m³, utilizing a converted ex-gas tanker FSO.   Dixstone will lead the construction of the liquefaction barge, leveraging over 20 years of international experience in FSO/FPSO conversions and more than 15 major offshore projects (MOPU/MODU/MOCU/MOLQU/MOPoDU) completed globally, including Africa, the UK, Brazil, and the Caribbean.   Our local yard, Dixstone Operation Gabon in Port-Gentil, will play a key role in providing local content and supporting Perenco Oil & Gas with essential onshore works to gather gas from Gabon's operated fields and to support activities at Cap Lopez Terminal.   We are proud to contribute to Gabon’s energy development while bringing our extensive experience and local expertise to this ambitious project! #LNG #EnergyTransition #Gabon #LocalContent #Innovation

Celebrating 2 years of success at the Barge Training Center (BTC)! We are excited to mark the 2-year anniversary of the Barge Training Center (BTC), our mobile floating training barge enhancing safety across Africa! Since launching on September 12, 2022, the BTC has provided critical safety and operational training directly where it's needed most. In just two years, we have certified over 3,200 individuals, including 300+ site and base supervisors from six countries, including France. Last week, we kicked off Season 2, starting our second round of training across all participating countries. As of September 12, 2024, the BTC has smoothly transitioned from Gabon to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), highlighting our flexibility and dedication to provide safety training. A big thank you to our partner Perenco and our local Dixstone team for their exceptional efforts. Great milestone achieved: Brixia successfully loaded on SW7 FALCON.   We are pleased to announce that the BRIXIA, a workover lift-boat, was successfully loaded onboard the SW7 FALCON on the 3rd of August in Qingdao, China. This crucial achievement not only underscores our collective focus on safety and operational excellence but also highlights the importance of cross-functional cooperation between Dixstone Business Units, including Construction and Marine. Moreover, it is essential to recognize the collaboration and critical support from Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Legal teams. Their coordinated efforts and commitment have been vital in ensuring the smooth execution of this complex project.   At Dixstone we believe in the power of collaboration!   Looking ahead, we are now focused on the next major undertaking: the transport of the TAMESIS, a construction lift-boat, in Singapore. We are confident that the same level of professionalism and collaboration will drive this project to success as well.
