As European air traffic continues to grow, CANSO emphasises the urgent need for better EU regulation to enhance airspace capacity and performance. The current framework limits investment in critical staffing and infrastructure, which affects both #airlines and #passengers. To ensure a safe, efficient, and scalable aviation environment, it’s essential that the EU adopts a forward-looking approach to air traffic management (ATM) regulation, prioritising investment in technology and infrastructure for sustainable growth. ✈️ European Commission Airlines for Europe (A4E) EUROCONTROL #Aviation #AirTrafficManagement #EURegulation #CANSO #Airspace #SustainableGrowth #airtraffic #capacity #delays #euframework #investment #challenge #atcos #staffshortage

With the below #pressrelease we want to highlight the increasing challenges faced by Air Navigation Service Providers (#ANSPs) due to adverse weather. With global aviation traffic surging, these weather events are creating a more demanding operating environment, necessitating greater coordination and collaboration among all aviation stakeholders. Learn more about the impact of climate on air transport and the innovative solutions that we are advocating. #Aviation #ClimateImpact #CANSO #weather #delays #capacity

Did you know that Eszter Kovács was one of our speakers at Airspace World last March in Geneva? As she explains below, during her panel she explored the role of AI in drone technology and AAM! DroneTalks.online will be in Lisbon next year...and you? www.airspaceworld.com
I had the pleasure to talk with CANSO at Airspace World in Geneva, sharing my thoughts about #AI and #AAM. In this short video, I explore the integration of AI in drone technology, emphasizing its potential to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and scalability - but AI is not the answer, more a great add on! The conversation covers various applications of AI in AAM, including traffic management, predictive maintenance, and autonomous navigation. I highlight the importance of regulatory frameworks and collaboration between stakeholders to fully realize the benefits of AI in the evolving drone ecosystem.
