Het zit er op!🎓📚   De afgelopen 6 maanden hebben voor Valerie Witteveen (Utrecht University) volledig in het teken gestaan van onderzoek doen. Vrijdag was het moment daar om de resultaten en aanbevelingen te delen met @ Been Management Consulting!💡   Valerie onderzocht hoe gevestigde food bedrijven hun waardeketens kunnen transformeren, door belangrijke stakeholders te integreren in een business model: zogeheten Collaborative Sustainable Business Models (CSBMs). Ons huidige voedselsysteem is op meerdere vlakken niet veel langer houdbaar en verandering van dit systeem is complex. Bedrijven kúnnen dit simpelweg niet alleen oplossen. CSBMs bieden unieke kansen voor bedrijven om gezamenlijk bij te dragen aan de voedseltransitie en tegelijkertijd economisch rendement te verbeteren. This method consists of taking an assessment where you get insight in your top 5 or top 10 talents (out of 34 talents), linking talents to personal strengths and an action plan for implementing the strengths in daily work.  Leadership & team development expert and coach Marieke Siero explains how she supports organizations in creating a strength-based culture:  🎯 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬: The entire organization received Gallup Strength Finder profiles. These profiles helped individuals understand their unique strengths (Name it)  🧔 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Multiple coaching sessions were facilitated for everyone. This process enabled them to not only understand their strengths but also actively apply them (Aim it and Claim it).  📍 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The strength-based approach was embedded in the performance management cycle. 🔎 🌱 Are you curious how companies can make a sustainable impact and what implementation barriers they face in their efforts towards positive impact? These questions are precisely the focus of our research intern Joran Zandbergen's master's thesis, titled "Examining Sustainable Business Models – An impact and barrier analysis, a study in the Dutch energy system." By conducting interviews with multiple companies in the energy sector, he analyzed the relationship between various sustainable business models and their environmental, social and economic impact. Additionally, he investigated the internal and external barriers these companies encountered in pursuing a sustainable business model. To act as one effective team, it takes time and effort to move to the next phase of Tuckman’s model: from forming, storming, norming to performing. Every phase requires the right interventions. We organize Team building sessions to better understand yourself, the other and how to further improve collaboration as a team.   First, we ask the team members to share their personal drives in their own words to get insights in what drives their thoughts and behaviors (see https://lnkd.in/eTKycHGz) Secondly, we look at the team profile. What role could you fulfill, based on your strengths, to contribute to the team and to achieve the strategic goals together. Recently we organized an interactive team building session to put the personal drives insights into practice through a Nunchaku workshop. A nunchaku is a Japanese martial arts weapon consisting of two sticks connected by a short rope. Together with Roland Griek BBA, Nunchaku vice world champion and MyDrives consultant, we organized the exercises and provided participants a mirror of the behaviors they demonstrate. Non-verbal communication, focus and respect are points of attention that are discussed. Better mutual understanding leads to better cooperation. Transformation expert Marine Clément coached, the new Leadership Team of a client in raw material production that supports the energy transition: “The MyDrives Nunchaku workshop was a great way for the participants to interact in a special way as half of them recently joined the Leadership Team. They got insights in their own preferences and how to adapt their style to the preferences of their colleagues; to provide feedback; address issues (fishes) before they become problems (sharks) and communicate in a constructive way. We translated the insights into the organization plans and agreements for effective Leadership Team meetings. Teamuitje naar Durbuy! Afgelopen weekend hebben we met het Been Management Consulting team een onvergetelijk uitje gehad in de prachtige Belgische Ardennen. Het was een weekend vol avontuur, gezelligheid en teamspirit met La Tannerie De Durbuy als onze fantastische uitvalsbasis.  De hoogtepunten? 🔥 Geweldig teamwork in de keuken tijdens (het voorbereiden van) de BBQ ⭐ Diepgaande gesprekken onder de sterrenhemel, maar ook veel gelachen en vooral geproost op onze successen. 🚴♂️ Adrenaline en actie tijdens het mountainbiken door de prachtige natuur van de Ardennen. 💃 Dansen in de enige club die Durbuy heeft.
