Zucchini Fashion Center in partnership with the University of Ibadan IPE Garment Lab. calls for application from budding fashion designers and entrepreneurs to the 2025 - 2026 Zucchini Fashion Apprenticeship Programme (ZFAP). ZFAP is a minimum of 12 month blended experiential, hands-on, practical learning providing budding fashion entrepreneurs a first-hand experience of the diverse nature of the fashion business industry before they venture out, also providing them a leverage to position themselves and create their niche in the vast fashion space. The programme opens apprentices to individual and team-based work, peer review, and personalized business mentoring. The programme component comprises of five broad segments – Administration/Management, Finance, Production, Marketing, and Leadership. The apprenticeship programme is designed such that apprentice will earn on every productive work on the programme, with the promise of providing business funding for those who perform exceptionally well on the programme. November 1, 2024 - We are super excited to receive at the Center some of the Fellows on the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme matched with our organization. As part of the deployment, we welcomed them to the Center, took them on the facility tour, as well as share the vision and aspirations of the organization with them. We interacted with them on the expectations of the programme, the roles they will take on in the organization, and the desired benefits for them and their future ambitions. The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative co-funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). As a talent incubator, the programme seeks to improve the employability of fresh graduates by connecting them to practical on-the-job skills through a 12-month paid-placement opportunity in private and public sector institutions across the country. As such, the NJFP is designed as a scalable model for facilitating a transformative and impactful transition of fresh graduates from learning to earning.
