This is the reason why The Emerging Alkebulan (Alkebulan Innovative Foundation) exist ♥️ We need inspirational leadership on the continent of Africa like #IbrahimTraore nothing less would do. The Alkebulan needs a leadership that sets the standards and boundaries for the people to see possibilities and what can be accomplished by that Eldership in responsibility. (leadership) Self-sufficiency leadership inspired the people to develop their own solutions for their specific needs in the society. This is what we're yearning for, this is what we need to see happening all.over the Alkebulan. Ibrahim Traore continues to inspire change ✨️ #AfricaRising #AlkebulanUnite #LeadershipMatters #Africa #Africadiaspora #AlkebulanAwakening #AlkebulanRenaissance #africanleaders

Great post by our esteemed collaborator Negus Rudison-Imhotep, Ph.D., MPA This is why The Emerging Alkebulan (Alkebulan Innovative Foundation) is so passionate about the importance of mindset decolonisation and the need to develop your own critical thinking and analysis... instead of following the mental abuse you have been indoctrinated with
Maiangwa, B., & Essombe, C. N. (2023). Being and Becoming “African” in the Postcolony. In The Paradox (es) of Diasporic Identity, Race and Belonging (pp. 79-107). Cham: Springer International Publishing. Abstract: This chapter aims to problematize the corrosion of the African sense of self and the resulting othering that stemmed from exploitative colonial practices which included the transatlantic slave trade and European occupation of the African continent. We also discuss the negligence by Africans and Africanists to engage the history of their deep past and contributions to the making of the modern world. To understand what was corroded and amputated, we present a few cultural, political, and religious features of some African societies before contact with Europeans/Arabs. Then, we explore the processes through which African identities have been violently dislodged and antagonized by outsiders and Africans themselves. Given how these phenomena reconfigured the trajectory of states, nations, and peoples across the globe, we discuss the internalization, banalization, and standardization of colonial violence within people of African descent themselves and in communities that are read as Black. The chapter concludes with a reflection on belonging and identity in the Postcolony as shaped by such legacies.

Please subscribe to our YouTube channel for our intellectually stimulating conversations where every topic is open for discussion. We address challenging subjects as we bring together Africans in the Diaspora and on the continent to shed light on the obstacles we face and propose actionable solutions to make Alkebulan a better place for its global sons and daughters. It is crucial that we overcome the psychological and systematic barriers that hinder our progress. It is high time we re-educate ourselves and liberate our minds from colonial influences. #Africa #AfricaUnite #AfricaDiaspora #MindsetMatters #MindsetChangers #AlkebulanAwakening #AlkebulanRenaissance

Remembering our fallen soldiers & ancestors who did what needed to be done to give hope to a generation 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Passionate about seeing the Alkebulan of my dream emerge. I am unapologetically African. We are building the Emerging Alkebulan. Titles don't matter. Disrupting the status quo. Thought provoker. Pan African to the core.
On this day in 1987, Thomas Sankara was assassinated by Blaise Compaoré simply because he dared to do what's right for his people against the hegemonic powers' influences. ✊🏾 As always, the enemy within was his downfall. A pattern that persists in Africa till date. Most African politicians are in a cult. Even if they go in with good intentions, they soon become part of the collaborative treachery against their own people. 🙄 The Alkebulan needs more uncompromising leaders like him who are about their people first over anything else! ✊🏾"I am because you are and you are because I am". We need Pan-African, Afrocentrism leaders who are about our collective communal empowerment and developments. We need #Ubuntu #Agbajowo to manifest in any African leadership. 🌍 Enough of the gatekeepers, Enough of those who continue to enable neo-colonialism. 🙅🏾♂️ Sankara said we must stand in the way of imperialism. May the legacy of Thomas Sankara, Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Amílcar Cabral, Marcus Garvey and all the visionary Alkebulan leaders prevail. Ase 🙏🏽 #SankaraLives #AfricaUnite #NoMoreNeocolonialism #Oladelesthoughts
