UNITE to End Violence Against Women and Girls As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, HortiNigeria, in collaboration with Soil Values Program, SWODEN Nigeria and THE SEED PROJECT CO LTD , hosted a 1-day workshop to shed light on the barriers and risks faced by female farmers. Key discussions addressed: 🌾 Equitable access to farmlands and decision-making power 🌾 Risks on farms and intimate partner violence 🌾 The impact of climate change on women in agriculture Participants, including Himma Bata da Rago Women Farmers Association, male farmers, community leaders, and health workers, came together to pledge their commitment to ending violence and creating a safe, inclusive space for women in agriculture.
