  • We engaged international partners and stakeholders at a Ministry-organised event on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (#UNGA79) in New York themed, 'Accelerating Nigeria's Digital Transformation: A Blueprint for Economic Growth through Technical Efficiency’. The event was a unique opportunity to engage and explore new collaborations for our strategic plans, as well and showcase ongoing solutions over the past year as we make steady progress on Nigeria's digital transformation journey. One of the highlights of the event was a fireside chat featuring the Honourable Minister, Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani and Sangbu Kim, Vice President for Digital Transformation, World Bank Group, where they discussed the critical role of digital technologies in transforming global economies as well as the World Bank's ongoing cooperation with Nigeria in infrastructure and Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). Watch the chat, lightning talks, panel session, and other key moments of the event.

  • We captured highlights of our participation at #UNGA79 on this link - b.link/BT@UNGA-2024 in a special 2 week edition of our #WeekInReview. A word of thanks to all our friends and partners who joined us at the Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy Side Event at UNGA where we showcased our current and prospective partnerships on a global stage, which also set the momentum for our participation. Thank you for your continued support and Happy Independence Day! #NigerianExcellence
