Global Business Leader | Transforming Healthcare Systems in Africa

Attended the Global Inclusivity and AI: Africa conference in Lagos, hosted by the governments of the United States and Nigeria. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with leaders in the AI and digital health space and explore potential collaborations with U.S. government agencies and private sector organizations. I was really impressed by the work of the U.S. Consulate General, Lagos. They're dedicated to making sure AI development in Nigeria benefits everyone, not only a select few. AI has the potential to transform healthcare in Africa, and at eHealth Africa, we're all in. We're actively seeking partnerships to develop innovative AI-powered solutions that address the continent's most pressing health challenges. If you're passionate about AI and digital health, we should connect. #AI #DigitalHealth #Africa #eHealthAfrica #Partnership #Innovation

Mentoring the Next Generation at eHealth Africa! At eHealth Africa, we believe that building a better future starts with investing in the next generation. Our "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" event, held at our offices in Abuja and Kano, was a heartwarming opportunity for our team members to introduce their children to the world of innovation, health, and technology. From hands-on activities to fun learning sessions, the kids got a glimpse of the meaningful work their parents do every day to improve healthcare systems across Africa. By fostering curiosity and creativity, we aim to inspire these young minds to become future leaders and change-makers. At eHealth Africa, we’re committed not just to improving lives today, but also to mentoring and empowering the leaders of tomorrow. #WeAreEHA #TGIF

In the last 25 days, eHealth Africa’s Disease Prevention and Monitoring team has conducted comprehensive pilot workshops for its innovative digital solution, Planfeld. This solution is designed to enhance the planning of vaccination campaigns and ensure that every child has access to the polio vaccine and other routine immunization services. The workshops which held across Kaduna, Niger, Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, and Kebbi States, exposed over 350 primary healthcare workers, partners, and stakeholders to the efficacy of Planfeld in planning vaccination campaigns with both speed and accuracy. Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the workshop also provided an opportunity for stakeholders to share insightful feedback during the demonstration of the tool. Excited about the days ahead and the impact the widspread use of this tool will bring to vaccination campaigns across Nigeria. #Innovation #Quality #Impact #Digital #WeAreEHA

We are excited to share the success of the Varo and Pogo LT Scale-Up Training, which took place, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. This initiative, led by eHealth Africa represented by Program Manager, Tahir Buhari - MBA, PRINCE2© , PMD Pro©, APMP©, in collaboration with UNICEF and the Bayelsa State Local Working Group (SLWG), focused on enhancing cold chain management to support routine immunization. During the training, health workers and cold chain officers from all 8 Local Government Areas were equipped with the skills to effectively use the Varo and Pogo LT digital tools. These tools are critical for temperature monitoring and control to ensure that vaccines maintain their potency and safety throughout the immunization supply chain. The training was attended by 200 health workers from 8 LGAs in Bayelsa State. With the active participation of key partners including World Health Organization, UNICEF, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and Corona Management Systems (CMS), this scale-up training marks a significant step forward in strengthening the cold chain system in Bayelsa State, ensuring that essential vaccines reach communities safely and efficiently. We’re proud to be part of this collaborative effort and look forward to seeing the positive impact on healthcare across Bayelsa State!
