Can anyone recommend a dog sitter that will be needed 7th-10th August please? A bit about the dogs; Jaxon (black) is nearly 4 and was unfortunately abused before I took him on so has some issues. I have been working with a behaviourist and he is now on medication (one tablet in the evening in his dog food) so has calmed down dramatically! He only gets walked every other day in the evening when it’s quiet to try and avoid any triggers and this seems to work amazingly for us both. He has lots of games to enjoy on the days he doesn’t go out and can guarantee the two of them will play in the evenings. He may take time to warm up so I’d like him to have the easiest transition possible and would need to meet for a few sessions before for a walk or something. Lanka (ginger) will be 10 by then and absolutely lovely, has no issues and is a pleasure to walk. She goes out twice a day as she will not toilet in my garden (must be the street dog in her but 5 years on and she still won’t go 😅) I’d ideally like someone to stay in my home but if it’s easier to come to you I am okay with that providing I can view beforehand.
