We need to ensure every affected property has their gas supply safely turned off first. Please do not try to do this yourself, unless advised to do so by our emergency call centre staff. We’re issuing some crime prevention advice after several holidays lets and second homes around the north Norfolk coast were broken into – although nothing was stolen. There’s some simple advice here that can help you to protect your property which is relevant whether you live there permanently, occasionally or if you rent it out. You can report this to us on 101, via live chat on our website or on 999 in an emergency or if a crime is in progress. The homes targeted were in Holme next the Sea, Blakeney, Wighton, and Wells. All between 2 and 10 January 2025. Windows or doors were forced and searches were carried out but nothing was taken from these.
