Hi Everyone We have had a cleaner for the past 17 years and sadly due to ill health can no longer continue to work which is a great shame as she was not only fantastic at her job but a wonderful person with it. (Still is). Would anyone be kind enough to recommend a very good cleaner please? One clean per week usually takes our cleaner 4 hours. Don’t really want to use a company as I know from past experience that the profits don’t go into the pockets of the hard working cleaners! We live in the Kingsley area near Frodsham. Many thanks

In North Shields this week we have started ground investigation works after a report of possible mining related damage to two homes. Due to access issues it was necessary to use a crane to deliver a drilling rig to the back garden of one of the properties so that ground samples can be taken and examined to see if the cause of the damage is due to historical mining in the area. We have also installed monitoring equipment at the properties to provide reassurance to the residents. We would like to thank local residents for their patience and understanding whilst the drilling rig was being delivered.
