Alexei Navalny: Russian opposition leader and Kremlin critic sentenced to 9 years in prison

The sentencing comes after Russia passed new laws that mean people who spread "fake" information could be jailed for up to 15 years. Navalny's lawyers Olga Mikhailova and Vadim Kobzev were arrested by police after the sentencing but later released.
