Agribank-GIZ Training Success Story – Mr. Herry Eiseb Mr. Eiseb attended training interventions hosted by Agribank in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit GIZ in 2021. He narrated how he was introduced to the concept of farming as a business and obtained knowledge and skills on how to identify diseases in small stock, administer vaccines and antibiotics, lick and feed supplementation, maintain kraal hygiene, determine correct breeding ratios, apply ear tags and market his livestock at the correct time.
Through its corporate social responsibility initiative, Agribank donated N$20,000.00 worth of equipment towards the establishment of Omutsegwonime Combined School Garden. Once in production, the garden will serve as a practical educational tool while also playing a crucial role in supplementing the school feeding program with fresh, nutritious vegetables for the learners. Handing over the donation, Ms. Victoria Namupala, Sales Consultant for the Agribank Northern Branch, stated that “this project is close to our hearts as it aligns with our commitment to support sustainable agriculture and enhance food security within our communities.”
