The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is set to release soon as the largest Switch game. Everyone is surely excited about all the new content we will get in the Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. However, we’d like to see a lot of the iconic enemies from the first Breath of the Wild and older games remain as prominent as they were in the originals. Here are some enemies we’d love to face once more in Tears of the Kingdom.
ReDeads
ReDeads are an enemy many players have been longing to see. These creatures are ominous and were the stuff of nightmares. Their lanky decaying bodies and frightful shrieks as they paralyzed and approached Link were truly chill-inducing. Tears of the Kingdom appears to be a more ominous game than Breath of the Wild where ReDead might finally see its first 3D Zelda appearance.
Lynels
Breath of the Wild marked the first 3D appearance of the Lynels and it was executed in a spectacular fashion. The game contained 25 of these fearsome creatures and running into one would send most players into panic mode. Lynels were rare but extremely powerful and they could only be defeated by the most skillful of players.
Furthermore, these hard-fought victories were worth it as they dropped some of the best equipment in the game. We look forward to seeing Nintendo’s second execution for Lynels and similar elite enemies.

Locality Specific Enemies
One thing we felt that Breath of the Wild lacked was locality-specific enemies. You can only keep fighting variations of Lizalflos and Bokoblins for so long before wishing for more. This lack of variety is why we’d like to see enemies such as the Wolfos and Darknuts make their return. They would solve the game’s diversity issue and provide a lot of personality to different areas Link has to explore.
These are a few enemies that players have been dying to face once more in Zelda titles. If you have any enemies you’d love to see in Tears of the Kingdom do let us know in the comments below.
