I am a doctoral researcher at the University of Bath, UK with an interest to contribute to a deeper understanding of pedagogy, inclusive education, and the application of strategic management in the decision-making process respectively. I hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTLS) and a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE). This research uses quantitative research, which is based on data that can be calculated to produce a strong quantitative interpretation. The data analysis technique used is PLS version 3.0 (Partial Least Square) software which is a variant-based structural equation analysis (Structural Equation Model) and can perform measurement model testing as well as structural model testing. The population and sample in this study were cooperatives in the South Tangerang area. The technique used in this study was the Simple Random Sampling Technique. And the sample used in this study were 191 employees in the South Tangerang Cooperative. Promoting Plagiarism Prevention through Workshop on Scientific Paper Writing

This study aims to promote plagiarism prevention through a workshop on scientific paper writing. ... more This study aims to promote plagiarism prevention through a workshop on scientific paper writing. This study applied a qualitative method with reflective notes techniques. The study results found that a workshop on scientific paper writing and plagiarism prevention is needed for students today. Some participants are first-year students; they learned about plagiarism punishment and how to prevent it for the first time. This study applied five stages to help students avoid plagiarism. Stage 1: the speakers assist participants in selecting a topic that is appropriate for them. After that, the participants were instructed to develop creative concepts for 1000 Indonesian words using familiar knowledge sources. Stage 2: speakers proofread and translate the generated original concepts into English. Stage 3: the speakers lead the attendees in identifying the essential points or arguments that should be cited. Google Scholar was used to look up all the ideas that had been identified. Participants were instructed to mention the most relevant sources. Stage 4: participants contribute their papers via Google Drive links to be checked for plagiarism using Grammarly premium. Stage 5: the presenters presented to the participants on various topics, including plagiarism definition, varieties of plagiarism, techniques to prevent plagiarism, penalties for plagiarists, and plagiarism detection software. This study recommends that a workshop on scientific paper writing is effective in helping students avoid plagiarism and ensuring the originality of scientific work.

Economic development has encouraged innovation in a range of industries; however, the education i... more Economic development has encouraged innovation in a range of industries; however, the education industry has been following traditional modes of teaching until recently across the world. This has not only affected the capabilities of the youth but has also led to the problem of unemployment and diminished success rates at the workplace. One of the factors contributing to this situation is the lack of student engagement. In this research, we examined the factors affecting student engagement among higher education students and determining the impact of pedagogical approaches with active leaning on influencing the engagement level. Analysis of 50 higher education level 3-7 students has shown that the major hinderance in student engagement is assessing their current knowledge levels to teach lessons effectively. Hence, using practical knowledge impartation mechanisms such as gamification, collaborative and peer learning would improve the cognitive, learning, and emotional behaviour of students; thus, boosting the engagement level

Tourism management for financial access in Sub-Saharan Africa: inequality thresholds

The empirical evidence is based on the generalised method of moments. To make this assessment, inequality dynamics (i.e. the Gini coefficient, the Atkinson index and Palma ratio) are interacted with tourism (tourism receipts and tourists' arrivals) to establish inequality levels that should not be exceeded in order for tourism to promote financial access in the sampled countries. From the findings, inequality levels that should not be exceeded for tourism to promote financial access are provided: (i) 0.666 of the Atkinson index and 5.000 of the Palma ratio for tourism receipts to promote financial access and (ii) for tourist arrivals to enhance financial access, 0.586, 0.721 and 6.597 respectively, of the Gini coefficient, the Atkinson index, and the Palma ratio. Policy implications are discussed.
