PNB telah menyumbang kepada projek pembangunan Pusat Kemahiran Jahitan Bukit Dahlia, Pasir Gudang, Johor. Projek dengan kerjasama Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Johor dan Waqaf An-Nur menempatkan sebanyak 42 unit mesin jahit yang akan digunakan oleh tukang jahit yang merupakan golongan asnaf. Adalah dijangkakan dengan sumbangan mesin jahit ini sebanyak 30,000 pasang baju seragam sekolah agama mampu dihasilkan setahun untuk diagihkan kepada murid-murid asnaf di seluruh negeri Johor. Penyampaian sumbangan telah disempurnakan oleh YB Tuan Hj. Mohd. Fared bin Hj. Mohd. Khalid, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Hal Ehwal Islam Negeri Johor. Hadir sama mewakili PNB, YBrs. Dr. AHMAD BASRI Ibrahim, Ketua Pengurusan Syariah PNB. Nurturing future leaders: Our annual Greater Engagement Programme (GEP) aims to equip young Malaysians with essential skills such as critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. We were humbled to organise the GEP Programme for nearly 400 talented young scholars of the BUDI PNB programme from MRSMs, Sekolah-Sekolah Berasrama Penuh, and Permata PINTAR at the annual GEP session hosted by MRSM Kuala Kubu Bharu. During the three-day programme, students participated in team-building activities, motivational sessions, and inspiring talks. Their enthusiasms and dedication, a testament to the bright future of our nation, are inspiring. PNB welcomes the Securities Commission Malaysia’s newly launched National Sustainability Reporting Framework (NSRF). Dato’ Abdul Rahman Ahmad, President & Group Chief Executive of PNB said, “PNB recognises the importance of this framework in fostering transparency and accountability in sustainability reporting. We believe that the NSRF will play a crucial role in driving corporate Malaysia’s global competitiveness towards a more sustainable and resilient future. Following the launch of the NSRF, PNB will continue to work closely with its investee companies as well as listed companies that it has stakes in to ensure they meet the specified disclosure requirements under the NSRF on a timely basis.”

We are delighted to have Nimmi Kamal, our Group Head of Corporate Affairs, representing PNB at the Young Executives Sustainability Summit 2024, held at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur. During the panel discussion titled "Interactive Intergenerational Forum: Perspectives on Personal and Enterprise Changemakers for Impact," Nimmi, along with esteemed panelists from various industries, shared insights on driving sustainability initiatives. Organised by the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB), the summit focused on sustainability issues from diverse perspectives, targeting young professionals in SMEs and large organisations. Building on our 2022 Sustainability Framework and 10 ESG Commitments, PNB remains committed to integrating sustainability into our operations.
