What a perfect conclusion to our NLinBusiness.com Exchange Days, the opportunity for the global #nlbusinesshubnetwork to visit ASML, a leading Dutch company and the world's largest supplier of photo-lithography machines used in the semi conductor industry. Globally, ASML plays a critical role in the production of microchips, supplying advanced equipment that enables the manufacturing of smaller, faster and more efficient semiconductors. We enjoyed the impressive tour of the Experience Center and a talk on local and geopolitical developments, global supply chains and business development with Frank Heemskerk. 

The services sector, a cornerstone of Malaysia’s economy, continues to thrive, driving the nation’s resilience with RM97.2 billion in approved investments from January to June 2024—making up 60.7% of total approvals! This surge is set to create 45,249 new jobs. Domestic investments led the charge with RM70.5 billion (72.5%), showcasing strong local business confidence. Meanwhile, foreign investments contributed RM26.7 billion (27.5%), highlighting ongoing international interest.

Results from the first half of 2024 shows a strong performance from Malaysia's manufacturing sector with RM 60.1 billion in approved investments, RM 47.6 billion of which is from FDI.
