The renovation project was more than just a physical transformation; it aimed to create a workspace that promotes well-being, productivity and collaboration. IJM gets off to strong start to FY25 on construction Hong Leong Investment Bank Research (HLIB Research) reported that IJM’s results for its first quarter ended June 30 (1Q25) for its financial year ending March 2025 (FY25) results were within analysts’ consensus and the research house’s expectations at 19% and 18%, respectively, of the full-year forecast. HLIB Research also highlighted two positive developments for the quarter: the construction segment’s return to profitability and strong port throughput volumes. The 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of IJM Corporation Berhad was successfully held virtually on 29 August 2024, with the proceedings recorded at Wisma IJM. Our Board members participated both in person and online. Datuk Lee Chun Fai, Group CEO & Managing Director of IJM Corporation Berhad, presented the Group's FY24 performance and prospects, highlighting how the implementation of the Group’s Strategic Focus has strengthened our financial resilience and positioned us for future growth. The virtual proceedings enabled shareholders and proxies to pose questions regarding the Group’s financial performance, current projects, and future plans and to receive immediate responses from the Board of Directors. They also voted on resolutions online in real-time.

IJM posts stronger revenue and core profits in Q1 FY2025 IJM has released its financial results for the first quarter ended 30 June 2024 (Q1 FY2025). Below are the key highlights: · Year-on-year revenue growth of 14.6% · Adjusting for the effects of a fair value loss on WCE Holdings Bhd warrants and unrealised foreign exchange movements, core PBT increased by 26.0%. · Outlook for FY2025 supported by outstanding Construction order book of RM6.5 billion and unbilled Property sales of RM2.3 billion, strong Industry balance orders of 0.9 million tonnes of spun piles as well as an expected improvement in Port bulk cargo volume · Strong cash reserves and healthy net gearing ratio of 0.29 times provides resilience and capacity to undertake large scale projects Datuk Lee Chun Fai, Group CEO & Managing Director of IJM Corporation Berhad, said: "Our Q1 results provide a solid start to the financial year. This honour, which carries the title "Datuk," was conferred in conjunction with the 75th birthday celebration of Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka, Tun Seri Setia (Dr.) Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, on 24 August 2024. This award recognises Datuk Lee’s significant contributions to the corporate, construction and infrastructure sectors. In addition, we are proud to share that YBhg Datuk Chai Kian Soon, Senior General Manager of IJM Land’s Central, Bandar Rimbayu and Seremban Region, and YBhg Datuk Ir.
