Empowering through knowledge and inclusion! We recently hosted an Excel training session for our PWD colleagues, and we were delighted to have 11 enthusiastic participants join us. This special session aimed to equip our colleagues with essential Excel skills to support their professional growth. Throughout the training, dedicated buddies from our TalentX and People and Culture teams were on hand to provide support. The session was expertly led by our Kind Heart team, including skilled Business Analyst and IT colleagues, who ensured a seamless and enriching learning experience through their dedication and expertise. Attendees shared how informative and impactful the session was, while also enjoying a dynamic, interactive atmosphere that made learning both enjoyable and rewarding. Allianz Malaysia, through its Corporate Social Responsibility arm, Allianz4Good, has donated a brand-new 4x4 Toyota Hilux ambulance to the Malaysia International Search and Rescue (MISAR), a social partner focused on relief efforts and safety. This donation supports MISAR in carrying out their crucial relief operations.   The ambulance was presented to MISAR founder, Captain K. Balasupramaniam, by CEO of Allianz Malaysia, Sean Wang. Specially designed for Malaysia’s rugged terrains and flood-prone areas, the ambulance is equipped with essential tools to provide timely assistance to injured, sick, and pregnant patients during emergencies.   Allianz Malaysia remains committed to supporting disaster relief efforts and strengthening community resilience. On 3rd October, we gathered at the Skylounge, Nu Sentral, to celebrate People and Culture Recognition Day, honouring the loyalty and dedication of our esteemed colleagues. Sean Wang, CEO of Allianz Malaysia Berhad, Charles Ong, CEO of Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad, and Wong Woon Man, Chief People and Culture Officer proudly recognised 47 colleagues for their remarkable service, ranging from 10 to 35 years. Additionally, we gave special recognition to 4 members of our Emergency Crisis Response Team for their outstanding contributions. We also celebrated 15 colleagues who successfully completed their Professional Commercial Underwriter Certification (PCUC) and honoured 5 retirees for their years of dedication. From our recent Boleh-Lympic initiative, we proudly celebrated 26 outstanding colleagues, including the team captains, assistant team captains, special award winners, and the top 30 scorers, for their dedication throughout the competition. We have just concluded our second and final townhall of the year at Allianz Malaysia, and what a journey it has been! With the theme ‘One Final Lap’, it was the perfect conclusion to a year that began with the high energy of our Olympic-themed first townhall. The townhall kicked off with a meaningful milestone—the launch of Allianz Malaysia's first corporate batik—a symbol of unity and heritage of Malaysia. Next, we heard and digested updates from Sean Wang, CEO of Allianz Malaysia Berhad, Charles Ong, CEO of Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad, and our senior management team, reminding us of the massive progress we have made this year. A special token of appreciation was reserved for our Customer Service Team—the heartbeat of our organisation—whose dedication has been second to none. We also took time to celebrate the achievements of our long-serving colleagues, whose commitment and contribution are truly the foundation of Allianz Malaysia’s success. As we close this chapter of 2024, a heartfelt thank you goes out to every single colleague for your hard work, resilience, and passion. Together, we’re poised to finish the year stronger than ever!
