Do you remember these TV flops?
Are these failures forgotten or not?
Hey, they can't all be Gunsmoke.
Sometimes, TV shows are dead on arrival. For whatever reason, the premise doesn't connect, and it never will. Or, maybe the premise is fine, but the execution is awful. There are even examples where the ingredients are all right, but the cast is all wrong.
So, let's see which ones were bad enough that you can't even recall them! We'll give you the name and the year, you just tell us if you remember it.
There's no right answer, just failed TV shows.

70% Cop Rock sucked
60% I actually liked Salvage 1.
it wasn't a bad show but building a spaceship from what you find in a junkyard is a biiiiiiit out there
"50% similar to the most popular responses"
I liked "My Mother the car" when I was very young. It became a easy punchline for comics,
hence it was called the worst series of all time which isn't true.
A lot of veteran actors guested on it, it was shot in vivid color and the 1929 Porter was
a beautiful car. Co-star Maggie Pierce was a babe, she popped up as eye candy on a lot of
shows back then.
The theme song was quite snappy as well.
It was aimed directly at kids, a silly not to be taken serious bit of fluff.

ME TOO! It was my favorite show when I was 7! Didn't see it in color until years later! Fun Fact: Would you believe Sammy Davis Jr. sang the theme song on air? Check it out on YouTube!
Wait, wait, did Sammy sing it on the series or on another show? I don't recall him guesting
on it. Frank "Herbert Gillis" Faylen did, I remember that because as a kid I was upset,
wondering why he wasn't with Mrs. G and Dobie.

I also liked this show - I was 7-8 years old when it aired. I don't why it's so maligned - it wasn't any worse than shows about, say, a talking horse or an aerodynamic nun.
60% NBC had such high expectations for Joey.
I think the casting was pretty bad. Plus, it was too soon after Friends. I didn’t think it was a bad idea for him to go to California, though he just needed a better supporting cast or different scenario. Clarify that I don’t think the acting was bad or the actors were bad. I just don’t think they were cast correctly.
I'll explain all of these: [1]Ted Bessell owned a monkey! Fun Fact: his daughter was Kami Colter AKA Elizabeth Walton! [2]Future Captain Janeway Kate Mulgrew played the title role! [3] Ernest Borgnine was his partner! [4] Raymond Burr after Ironside and before Perry Mason 2.0! [5] Desi Arnaz Jr. teams with a robot! [6] Jerry Van Dyke's car was his mother! [7] Hill Street Blues meets West Side Story! [8] Yes, a takeoff on a bad insurance comericial! Fun Fact: Would you believe fellow insurance spokesperson Flo was on it? [9] Horrible Friends spinoff! [10] Andy Griffith between TAGS & Matlock!
[5] Desi Arnaz Jr. teams with a robot!
WRONG! (but thanks for playing.) Automan was not a robot, he was an AI driven holographic projection. The show was a TV take-off on the idea of "Tron" in the real world.

As Cornelius pointed out in "Escape From the Planet of the Apes", chimpanzees are apes, not "monkeys".
