When you hear 7UP, you’ll likely think of the classic lemon-lime flavoured fizzy drink, but soon you might associate the name with something a little different.
That’s because the drink brand is launching a new, and somewhat unexpected, range of products which feature the iconic citrus taste.
This summer you’ll be able to get your hands on a BBQ range by 7UP, featuring three products created in partnership with Twisted. There’ll be a Zesty Mayonnaise, a Zingy Hot Sauce, and a creamy ranch-style Tangy Salad Dressing.
The entire collection is vegan, and the brand claims the products will ‘elevate’ your meals, making your BBQ food ‘more vibrant than ever’.
But there is a catch, and it’s a pretty big one.
Not everyone will be able to get their hands on the unique products, as they won’t be available in supermarkets.
Instead, you’ll need to either win a social media competition or you can nab some in person as 7UP will be popping up around the UK over the summer months with a Coolbox installation.
The Coolbox will be appearing in places such as Battersea Power Station and at food festivals like Pub in the Park. 7UP will give away the newly-released trio of products at each stop on their tour, as well as an exclusive BBQ kit and some other 7UP merchandise.
And if you’re wondering what to use the new sauces for, a selection of recipes will be shared to highlight dishes that perfectly pair with the taste of 7UP.
Where to find the 7UP Coolbox this summer:
- Battersea Power Station: Friday, 21st June – Sunday, 23rd June
- Pub in the Park, Chiswick: Saturday, 29th June – Sunday, 30th June
- Media City, Manchester: Wednesday, 3rd July – Sunday, 7th July
- Foodies Festival, Tatton Park: Friday, 12th July – Sunday, 14th July
- Edinburgh: Friday, 2nd August – Sunday, 4th August
Karina Carrico, Senior Marketing Lead for 7UP said: ‘We’re absolutely fizzing with excitement to unveil the BBQ Range by 7UP, here to take the nation’s barbecue game up a notch this summer.

‘And that’s not all, 7UP is helping take summer up a notch, in more ways than one, which is why we’re bringing our Coolbox installations to cities and food festivals around the UK.
‘We’ve created the perfect hub to chill out and enjoy a complimentary 7UP with your meal, whilst listening to much-loved tunes and we can’t wait for visitors to join us.’
This comes hot on the heels of another popular brand launching an exciting new product this week, which fans claim is their ‘best’ yet.
We’re talking, of course, about McVities which has debuted a cocoa version of its iconic Rich Tea Biscuits, and it’s safe to say we’re intrigued by them.
The new biccies, which are said to be perfect for dunking, are currently available in Tesco for £1.80 for a pack, or £1.25 with a Clubcard.
The biscuits are the same ones you know and love, just cocoa-flavoured, so there’s no chocolate topping or anything extra here.
