Prince Harry claims Princess Diana wasn't 'paranoid': 'She knew what was happening to her'

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, featured in ITV's newly released documentary Tabloids on Trial, in which he opened up about his 'destroyed relationship' with the royal family members, wife Meghan Markle, the impact of phone hacking, and a lot more.
Prince Harry also took a stand for his late mother Princess Diana when questioned about 'paranoia'. When asked if he has felt a sense of paranoia due to the intrusions into his private life, Harry said, 'I think paranoia is a very interesting word because, yes, then it could be paranoia, but then when you're vindicated it proves that you weren't being paranoid'.
The Duke of Sussex added, "Same with my mother. There's evidence to suggest she was being hacked in the mid-90's. Probably one of the first people to be hacked."
Princess Diana died in 1997, following a car crash in Paris. Post her death, many claimed that she feared her phone calls were being tapped. Although it has never been proved in the court, Harry's lawyers previously alleged that the Daily Mirror editors hacked Princess Diana's voicemails to get information about her meetings with comedian Michael Barrymore.
"She wasn't paranoid. She was absolutely right of what was happening to her. And she's not around today to find out the truth," added Harry.
During the conversation, Harry also opened up about his broken relationship with the royal family members. The Duke of Sussex claimed that his legal battles against tabloids played a role in the rift between him and royal family members. He also spoke about their decision not to fight against the British tabloids.
Lately, there have been several reports of Harry and Meghan trying to connect with the royal family members to fix things between them.
