Influencer couple Khalid Al Herani and Nora Achmaoui announced the gender of their baby in the Middle East’s first-ever drone show reveal party. Organized at the Jetty Lounge of One&Only Royal Mirage, the celebration was hosted on Tuesday, July 16. Attendees of the party were close friends and family members dressed in pink and blue to pick sides.
Mommy-to-be Nora Achmaoui, who is a Moroccan-German entrepreneur, was rooting for the baby to be a girl, whereas, Khalid, a Palestinian content creator, picked the blue side. According to Cosmopolitan Middle East, over 350 drones were used to display the couple’s love story and the pictures of their proposal before the gender of their baby was finally revealed.
“It’s A Girl,” the drone display said sending the parents into great euphoria, especially Nora. The influencer couple broke down while embracing each other as the camera captured them together.
The duo shared the one-of-a-kind moment on their joint Instagram writing, “3…2…1…It’s a…? We both can’t wait to welcome our baby to this world. You’re a miracle on your own mashallah, our symbol of love. Btw this was the first ever Gender Reveal Droneshow in the Middle East and I can‘t find the words to describe how beautiful intimate and personal this moment was.”
It was in May when the couple announced their pregnancy on social media, thereby spamming followers with happy photographs. “Little pregnancy reveal spam. And a little background story on our inspo: We both love going through our parents old 70s pictures and thought: our future child is only gonna get 21st century, smartphone pics from us? Nooo, we want him or her to VIBE with us,” they said.
Khalid Al Herani and Nora Achmaoui tied the knot in February 2023.
