This national competition is a great way to get your top 6th-8th grade math students into a place where they can show their speed at problem-solving. This event includes individual, team, and a ‘jeopardy style’ competition. Held at Fresno State, students are exposed to both mathematical problems and the university campus. The next competition at Fresno State will take place February 8th, 2024. See you there!

Champions often receive scholarships, recognition, and the chance to represent their region at national and even international math competitions, setting them on a path to a promising future in mathematics and related fields.
Details about the event
The Competition Series has 4 levels of competition—school, chapter, state and national. Each level of competition is comprised of 4 rounds—Sprint, Target, Team and Countdown Round. Altogether the rounds are designed to take about 3 hours to complete.
