2018 Update: Hawaiʻi to Zero HIV Cure and Prevention Efforts

On January 16, the Hawaiʻi Center for AIDS held a full day conference dedicated to HIV prevention in the morning and HIV cure in the afternoon. (1) National HIV leaders presented on prevention efforts, (2) the Hawaiʻi Department of Health (DOH) shared new Hawaiʻi-specific surveillance data, and (3) highly esteemed HIV Immunology experts presented on HIV cure efforts. On January 17, we also invited HIV community leaders and medical/health professionals to attend a discussion with the Hawaiʻi State DOH and to develop a Hawaiʻi-specific strategy for Hawaiʻi to Zero.
