You can unfollow someone following you on Twitter if you don’t like them and don’t want to ban them. Here’s how you do it on Twitter’s desktop and mobile sites, which requires a few clicks.
The Traditional and Modern Ways to Unfollow People on Twitter
In September 2021, Twitter introduced the option to delete followers. Before, blocking a follower was the only way to get rid of them. By doing this, you effectively deleted that user from your list of followers, stopped them from following you again, and made your tweets inaccessible.
Twitter’s “Downvote” Feature is Now Being Tested Globally on Android and IOS
You can delete someone from your followers’ list using the new approach of unfollowing without blocking them. When you eliminate a user from your list of followers on Twitter, they are not informed, and they may decide to start following you again if they realize they are no longer doing so.
